a MUCH needed visit from some of our favorite people!

We so love it when we have visitors come!!

This was from the last time Madison "met" Katie, Brian, and Tyler. Madison is a bit bigger and crazier this time around. She LOVED having a fun and energetic boy to play with and Ty was so sweet and cute with her.


Tyler was very excited to go to an orchard and pick apples...

We were spoiled all weekend with yummy food prepared by Brian and his Sous Chef :)

Papa Paul got the boat working so we could go out on the river. Madison hates her life jacket. Can't imagine why??

She was a great sport and went out on the tube in the COLD water with me!

It took a little convincing, but Tyler agreed to go on the tube with his Daddy..... But the boat wouldn't start back up! Uh oh!!!

Good thing my Dad keeps some oars on deck.

What a beautiful day for some rowing!

What I failed (or chickened out on) getting a picture of was the boat full of firemen that "rescued" us and towed us safely into shore. It wasn't quite the boating adventure we set out for, but it was still a good time. For the record, the boat is now up and running and the Butlers need to come back for another try!!

It was SO good to play and relax and eat wonderful food and play games and talk!! We definitely should not wait as long to see the Butler clan again!!
