Our Quiet Christmas

Madison was so helpful making Christmas cookies (ha ha- not so much) and getting ready to host Christmas Eve at our house.

We played a fun present opening dice game that the Drapers taught us a few years back....Madison preferred to eat the dice on her turn.

Christmas morning we got to sleep in until about 8:30! Madison was excited to open presents, but still a bit confused by the whole situation.

She liked the new chair Santa brought, but I'm not sure this was the purpose he intended.
Christmas Day was spent at my parent's house. We had yummy breakfast, opened presents, took naps, played games- all the "typical" Christmas activities. We had some delicious dinner and headed home. It was all in all a very quiet and calm Christmas. Next year I suspect will be a different story once Madison understands a little better.
